Did you know leaving your battery in your laptop when it is fully charged while plugged into the power adaptor for a long period of time can cause your battery to weaken and not hold a charge as it use too.  So if you are not going to be using your battery for power remove it. Your battery will love you for it.

When it comes to laptops the #1 thing I work on the most are broken power jacks. Over 90% of the time they are caused by leaving the power cord plugged in while transporting it. Please if you do not want to go thru the expense of repairing your ac jack remove your power cord from the laptop before moving it.

Tired of the same windows wallpaper (backgrounds) that came with your windows 7 computer and want to change it to one of your own that you have saved on your system. You can make that happen.

1. Right-click any open space on your Windows desktop, then choose Personalize.
3. Click DesktopBackground.
4. Next to Picture Location, click Browse.
5. Navigate to the folder containing your desired desktop photos, click it, and then click OK.

Want to know how to change the desktop background themes in Windows 7. Specifically, if you have multiple photos you want to use for the desktop background, but can't find a way to add more than one. It's possible to add your own collection of photos, and even mix them in with the current desktop theme. Here's how:

1. Collect all the photos you want to use into a single folder. The name and location don't matter, so long as you remember both.
2. Right-click any open space on your Windows desktop, then choose Personalize.
3. Click Desktop Background.
4. Next to Picture Location, click Browse.
5. Navigate to the folder containing your desired desktop photos, click it, and then click OK.
6. By default, Windows will select all of the photos in that folder. If there are some you want to remove, clear their checkboxes.
7. Modify any other slideshow settings you want, like Picture Position and change frequency. When you're done, clickSavechanges.
8. You'll see a new Unsaved Theme. Click it to apply it immediately, then click Savetheme and give this new theme a name.

That's all there is to it!
